I will recommend blazblue to everybody until we all have a pocket main susanoo.Successfully complete one of the following tasks to get a trophy: All of this is coming from a 5 year and counting Mai player who's been on the grind of relearining the game from scratch since rollback dropped in December.ġ0/10 master craft fighting game right here. My personal main Mai is actually a real easy and good mixup character especially when you get things like 236 into grab mixups down or wacky crossups with j.C though yes I do recommend Mai because her inputs for specials and supers are relatively easy especially for beginner players and yes I know everyone's gonna say "You play her because of the booba" and you are also right about that to but her funny mixups make it worth it and also MAI'S 214D vibe check.

Hmm for easy characters if this is your first time getting into blazblue I always will recommend the staple boy of the series Ragna as he will in fact help you out with learning a bit of the game's overall functions and how things work. Some characters in overdrive are absolutely broken if hit into the right setup though ahem susanoo, terumi, hakumen, the 5 kokonoe players that are absolute gods at this game. Overdrive enhances your super's and special moves to do more damage or take a few extra hits. Overdrive as a mechanic can be activated at any point in both rounds as long as you do realize that it'll have to recharge after use. At it's core blazblue can be compared to other arc sys fighters but there's always a mechanic that sets them apart and here we have the overdrive mechanic aka you don't see people use it half of the time because they round start overdrive burst when you hit them even once like bro take the 2k damage combo so I don't hit you with a overdrive combo that does 4.5k later in the round. What can I say about blazblue that hasn't already been said "fast paced guilty gear" "for people who don't wanna play footsies" "Noel's armpits be making me sus online". Still doesn't mean you'll have a good connection if you don't use an ethernet cable though. Now with rollback added oh man the game runs buttery smooth online and feels incredible to play with everybody. I've been holding off on writing this review for a while as I was playing this years ago before the concept of rollback was even considered the cool hip thing with fighting games and yes the netcode at that time was hit or miss.
